Teesside Memorial Ceremonies
A memorial ceremony is your time to remember and celebrate the life of a person in a personal and meaningful way in a venue or a place of personal choice or significance. Memorial ceremonies commemorate a person who has died and can give those attending an opportunity for a personal tribute, or to share stories of memories without the time constrains or restrictions funerals have.

A Celebration Wherever You Choose
Ceremonies can take place in a family garden, a hotel, a favoured pub garden, on a beach, in a theatre, in woodlands, or in a favourite place at a time and a date of your choosing. They can be after a funeral ceremony or when there hasn’t been a funeral ceremony to give people the opportunity to say goodbye, such as if a direct cremation or unattended ceremony has taken place.
A personalised memorial ceremony
Many people choose to have a direct cremation in the hope of preventing their families, friends and all who knew them from the sorrow of a funeral. However, a funeral is an essential part of the grieving process. Funerals and celebrations of life are the final acts of love we can carry out for people, or for challenging family situations, they are the closure which might be needed to help move forward.
Together through conversations about the person who has died, we can plan a personalised memorial ceremony to celebrate the life and to say goodbye. Children, pets, music, tributes, memories and stories can be included to celebrate the life of the person in a formal or a casual way.
Memorial ceremony fees start from £300. Areas covered include Teesside, Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Redcar, North Yorkshire and Co Durham.
