About Me, Jill Jones, Independent Celebrant

Am I the right celebrant for you?

A happily married wife to my husband Ralph (who is my best friend and my creating cuisine partner). Apple pie, lemon meringue roulade and roast dinners are our favourite things to make and eat. Our family is our world, especially our grandchildren.

I am a people person, and I like meeting people of all ages.

I am a lover of crime dramas.

I like reading autobiographies as I have a fascination with people’s life stories (is it any wonder I am a celebrant?)

I love going to the theatre and some of my favourite shows are Kinky Boots and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

I love gardening and the flowers in our back garden are attached to fruit and vegetables we grow to eat.

I like swimming, and am a collector of shoes. (Not a case of having too many pairs as is there such a thing?)

Coffee is my favourite drink.

I have a strong connection to the North East where I hail from.

I sing, can read music and like to listen to soft rock and classical music.

I am a trained bereavement counsellor.

I will not lead more than three ceremonies a week.

I am a full time celebrant and give my complete attention to every ceremony.

I spend over fifteen hours creating every ceremony.
